Ive always used a bit of kerosene in water in a special spray gun. Wont be touching the vh like that anymore now but I did the ute engine bay not long ago with it and it come up nice considering how dirty it was. I was a bit scared about getting it in the electronics but it worked good. Should I be worried doing this?

What are you worried about James? If it's the electrics I wouldn't be to worried as I do it every day and haven't had a problem. Most of the modern cars have everything undercover. Just don't blast to much water at the abs module

Hey Anthony,

2 questions for you.

1. (From my sister). What is the safest way to remove makeup off the fabric door trim?
2. What is the best way to stop that hazy film that builds up on the inside of the front windscreen?

1. Make up can be removed by using a general purpose cleaner and a rag. If that doesn't work maybe even some warm soapy water. It depends on how engrained it is. If those options don't work then maybe need to be shampooed out

2. Don't get in the car. HA HA
No real definitive answer on that one as its a combination of a lot of things, such as the ac, moisture, the occupants of the car breathing, sneezing. If anyone has tried something and you swear by it please let us know because I for one would be interested.

Hope I have been of some help Dot

Yeah probably works ok but is still not going to stop it. Just reduce how long it takes to fog
