On Sunday 3 June 2018, Aussie Commodores Club Inc lost not only a club member but a great friend and passionate Holden fan.
Howard Kennedy also known as "CalaisV" or "HK" had battled cancer for several years. During that time Howard never complained but just got on with what he needed to do to fight his battle and also made sure he made the most of life.
Howard loved his family and his work for the NSW Board of Studies where he developed and introduced the Automotive Studies courses into High School curriculum thru to HSC level. Howard loved his cars and had many different cars over the years but it was his V8 Calais which brought us all together as friends.
Howard was always keen to talk about cars, your car, his car, mods that you or someone had done to their car, mods he'd done to his car and there were a few of those. Howard was always up for a chat and loved kicking back on Sunday cruises or weekends / trips away with club members.
Howard was never one for the spot light but you always knew he was there. Ever the gentlemen in his V8, which he loved dearly.
Howard, you are a great friend to all and will be deeply missed by your friends at Aussie Commodores Club Inc. Till we meet again, enjoy the vast open highways of the heavens and universe.
Rest in Peace our dear friend.
Regards
ACC Committee
