Ive been up late every night this week to get the cars ready. Have to sparkle for the biggest show of the year. Will be spending all day tomorrow finishing off the ute. Although it hasnt rained this week, still disgusting how dirty it gets. Who is looking forward to a -1degC start. Once the sun comes out should be an excellent day. |

Yep Dorothy....WHAT A DAY.....WOW Where do I start.... The weather was magic (apart from the cold start, but that's an AHD morning for you). The number of cars on display and spectators was impressive, our new banner looked great and we got to meet many people and make new friends. A great turn out by Aussie Commodores and congrats to James and Doug for picking up a trophy at AHD...no mean feat that. Well done gents... Thanks to Di and Grant who cooked up B&E rolls for one and all. Outstanding. Thanks to Dorothy for putting the lollie bags together. Dorothy, Di and Susie did a great job in making sure every child (big and small) left the Aussie Commodores area with a smile and bag of goodies. Many thanks. Thanks to James for preparing and entering two cars, plus also bringing the TV and generator. The sound and like show was great. My thanks to all Aussie Commodores members who attended. It was a great team effort today by one and all. We prepared our cars well, put on a great display for the public and made the most of the day.....Well done all. |

Thanks everyone for a great day out and the effort everyone put in to help Greg,Anthony and i. One of the best shows i have seen as the cars just keep getting better and congrads to James and Doug for ACC first trophy. With members like you guys we can only get better. Thanks again everyone. |

Great day everyone, Holden might be shutting the factory down but the work people put into their cars is fantastic and I am sure a lot of them are in better condition now then when the left the factory. The club display was really professional and it can only get better from here. I saw a lot of interest by the punters walking past being drawn in by what we have to show. Its a reflection of everyone in the club. Have to correct you there Grant, Dorothy got the first club award last year, but I will take the first AHD award for the club. I am sure we will not be alone with that status for long. Dorothy got plenty of photos around the show so I will make sure I get them up here before the end of the week. |
