Any club or organisations reputation is only is good as that of the people who make up that club or organisation. Accordingly the following rules apply to any and all events / cruises / functions organised by Aussie Commodores Club Inc.

1) When on a cruise with Aussie Commodores Club Inc. you will obey the road rules speed limit for that road and also drive to the conditions of the day and the road. No "Hoon" activity will be tolerated!

2) Committee / Events Co-ordinator will nominate a "Lead Car" for a cruise. The Lead Car will control the cruise and provide direction to those on the road with Aussie Commodores Club Inc. Other nominated Club Members maybe nominated as "Control Cars" and be placed at various intervals within the cruise. They too may direct those on the road as to what actions to take as required.

3) At no time will any car without the permission of the Lead Car, go past the Lead Car. As we share the road with others, we will generally travel in a single line convoy throughout a cruise unless instructed by the Lead Car. How we conduct ourselves on the road reflects on Aussie Commodores Club Inc's name and reputation. We will not tolerate any action that brings negative attention to the Club.

4) If you encounter mechcanical problems / other issues whilst on a cruise, please advise the Lead Car that you need to stop. When it is safe to do so, either the Lead Car or a Control Car will will stop with you to assess the problem and render assistance.

5) Aussie Commodores Club Inc. will not tolerate drink driving. If you intend to drink, ensure you remain under the legal limit of 0.05 or have an alternative driver for your car.

Alcohol will not be allowed at any event that Aussie Commodores Club Inc attends that is run by another club / organisation or third party not being Aussie Commodores Club Inc. This includes car shows.

6) Any actions by a forum user or member attending a Aussie Commodores Club Inc event that affects the reputation of the Club will not be tolerated.

7) It's a highly recommended that for the safety of you and the other on a cruise that you have a UHF radio. Aussie Commodores Club Inc uses UHF radios to communicate between cars on a cruise. This ensures both a fun and a safe time on the road.

Getting out on the road for a drive and a chat is about having fun with friends and like minded people who love their cars. So lets do it safely by obeying the road rules and directions of the Lead Car / Events Co-Ordinator on cruises.

If you have any questions regarding the rules and policies governing Aussie Commodores Club Inc events, please contact a Commitee Member who will be more than happy to discuss any questions or concerns.

Regards

ACC Committee
