Ok, Here is Kelly's HSV Clubsport. Picked it up about a week ago 12 Months Reg and full service history, 2nd Owner regular service history mostly country K's (173,000) and unmolested etc etc.

I got the car cheap but it has a few blemishes but nothing bad well except for shonky paint on front bar.

My goal with this car is Comfortable and fast daily although it will never be a 10 sec car i'd like it to feel like your driving something very special

Year: 2004
Model: HSV Clubsport
Engine: 5.7L v8 - LS1
Trans: Auto
Trim: Black fabric
Diff: 3.07LSD
Options: Towbar.
Plans: Fix the gearbox !!!! planning a stage 2 box with a stall within next week or 2...
2: Front bar and a few small things resprayed ....
3: HSV leather interior upgrade...
4: HSV gauge pod...
5: OTR tune shift points cleaned up
Think I will just focus on these first im pretty keen to drop it slightly over the mc racing wheels (fake simons) but totally undecided on wheels so see how we are looking after first list is done!!!!

Whats wrong with it?
- Tear in the drivers seat fabric (to be re done in leather)
- Front bar has flaky paint
- Gearbox has blown second gear
- a few body kit clips need addressing
- shudder in front under severe braking (currently ordering nolathane suspension rebuild kit)
- needs a serious detail

This car is a great car and being currently standard it's a great platform for us to modify to our taste & ofcourse we will track ever modification through drag times to see what is working and what isn't !!!!!

Clubby has ran 14.4 at wsid with 2nd gear slipping and having to back of to click 3rd where unfortunately gearbox decided enough was enough, we hope to significantly improve this into high 11's low 12's "two thumbs:

Well been tuff couple of weeks working on this old girl for Kelly,

Spent weekend painfully fitting a complete front & rear nolathane kit and new shocks/ springs....WHAT A DIFFRENCE like a new car while we were at it took the opportunity to fit a new tail shaft

just finished up waiting for suspension to settle cant wait to get the new rims on next week its all about brakes got some new rotors and bendix ultimate pads she is really getting.....

As well as during the week I took the opportunity to fit a factory Bluetooth kit using the sleek vy vz phone button addressed the broken cup holders and pesky centre console compartment but on the look out for a vz r8 leather interior as we speak..

couple of quick shots of the suspension waiting for it to settle and my duspeed otr before painting :chewy:
