I remembering watching this on the "Wide World of Sports" one winter afternoon in the 80's. I stumbled across this the other day and thought it an interesting comparison to the early 2000's speed comparison of V8's at Bathurst. What I laughed at then and still do now, is Niki Lauda standing there drinking his coffee whilst the other two cars have departed on their laps. I suspect some editing trickery, but its fun to watch. |
